I cannot motivate you...I can only provide the tools

Motivation, If I had a $$$ for every one who asked me to motivate them..

I cannot ( and neither can anyone else) motivate you...you have to do it. All I can do if provide the tools rthen it is up to you.

Business Planning its all in your personality

I have over the years seen some marvelous Business Plans and well some pretty ordinary ones as well.

Here is my tips:
The good ones:

1. Written by the owner with a clear vision reflecting their values and personality
2. Clear and Simple
3. Financials are done after the Marketing Strategy

The bad Ones:

1. Written by Consultants
2. Detailed and complicated
3. Destroyed a forest of trees
4. Cost a fortune

I am over the news saying the world will end sand then it will be a disaster.

These are the same people that told us that greed is good and we should buy SHARES, PROPERTY etc and it will always grow.

Just stand back a minute and think....

1. Do you know any one who is out of work who wants a job?
2. Are you complaining about the mortgage payments
3. Are you complaining about petrol pricing ( 6 months ago this was the end on civilisation)
4. Yes times are tough ...but that is business
5. Get off your Axxx control the controllable and forget about the rest

Selling is not discounting

In todays environment we are all chasing sales.. and to this end it seems a never ending quest to BUY cheaper SELL for less and on we go...

STOP IT !!!

Try this:

1. Provide excellence in Customer Service (not sure what it is ...WELL FIND OUT!)
2. Look for the upsell
3. Generate interest in your Products / Services thru Newsletters offers etc

Recession What Recession Just an Excuse

If I hear this word as an excuse for lack of business once more i will scream....

Business is about managing adversity , change and "drama" .

It is not a cake walk but damn hard...smart...selective work....

How can you do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result

Turn off the radio , TV and face reality if it is to be it is up to me!
